The Story

Menasseh is an independent recording artist, songwriter, producer, screenwriter, director, and actor whose work blends hip-hop, soul, and cinematic storytelling into long-form narrative projects. His debut mixtape, SUPERNOVA, began as a survival process: a document of pressure, loss, faith, and transformation.

“You anoint my head with oil…only to burn me alive.”

Those opening words introduce SUPERNOVA not simply as a release, but as an invitation; the moment where breaking becomes becoming. Like the death of a star, the project lives in the tension between collapse and creation, asking what it means to lose an old self and step into something larger.

At its core, SUPERNOVA is for anyone who learned that shrinking was the price of belonging: for those who have felt unseen, silenced, or too much, and are ready to remember their voice.

Because fire does not only destroy; it reveals.

We all suffer. We all fade.

The only question left is: will we disappear quietly, or stand honestly enough to remember who we are?
